3 March - 22 September Oxford in the 1950s
Touring exhibition of photographs from the Thomas Photographic Collection. A nostalgic look at leisure and labour in the 1950s produced by the Oxfordshire Record Office.
17 March - 10 May Leaves: ceramic leaf structures
Ceramic leaf structures by Y12 art & design students at the Marlborough School will be entwined into the trees of the museum garden. Their work has been inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy and William Morris.
1 April - 19 May Pathways: Contemporary Studio Ceramics
An exhibition of contemporary studio ceramics by Annie Turner, Lucy Butterwick, Richard Phethean and Margaret O'Rorke plus pieces from the Oxfordshire Collection of Contemporary Craft. There will be a parallel display in the Brewhouse Gallery of work from the community aspect of the Potters of Port Street project, which has included work in primary schools and with the people of Leafield.
26 May - 12 August The Tudors
Find out what happened in Tudor times and what daily life was like for rich and poor. This family-friendly interactive exhibition is an exciting introduction to the topic of the Tudors. Using artefacts, replicas, models and hands-on activities, it covers themes such as the Tudor Kings and Queens, food, clothing, town life, country life, transport, entertainment and crime and punishment.
14 July - 9 September Oxford Sculptors Group
Annual Summer selling Exhibition of sculptures in the Museum Garden.
19 August - 15 September British Society of Enamellers
