Rousham Park House and Gardens A 17th century house built by Sir Robert Dormer and still in ownership of the same family with a wonderful 20 acre William Kent garden – a rare surviving example of ponds and cascades, stone built features and statues. On the skyline is a sham ruin known as the 'eyecatcher'.

Bladon Beyond Woodstock is the village of Bladon where Sir Winston Churchill and other members of the Churchill family are buried in the churchyard at St. Martins. The burial of the great soldier in 1965 was a private occasion, the cortege making its last journey from the railway station at nearby Long Hanborough after an impressive parade through the streets of London. |

Oxford Bus Museum (Long Hanborough) Over 50 vehicles on display which were used for public transport in and around Oxford, ranging from early Oxford horse trams to buses from the 1980’s. Many are in a roadworthy condition and some travel out for special events. The Spice Girls Movie World double decker bus resides here too.
Opening Hours: Throughout the year, every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 10.30am – 4.30pm. Also open every Saturday from Easter to the last Saturday in October. Bus rides on the first Sunday of every month from April to October at 3.00pm.

Combe Mill in Steam (Combe, near Long Hanborough) Mid 19th Century sawmill with working steam engine, original Cornish boiler and a working blacksmith’s forge. A pattern maker’s shop on the first floor houses a collection of tools, models and displays of the Society’s collection.
